SANTA CLARA, CA ― June 2022 ― Absolute EMS, Inc., an award-winning EMS provider of
turnkey and consignment manufacturing services, is pleased to announce that the Loyola
Marymount University (LMU) EMBA students visited its facility in Santa Clara on Wednesday,
June 10, 2022. The visit was part of the University’s weeklong Business Excellence study on
managing innovation in organizations.



The students study how organizations gain competitive advantage through the way they
manage innovation (services, processes, marketing, management systems, technology and
products). As the practicum for the course, the one-week trip is planned to visit organizations
noted for managing innovation.

The trip starts out in Sacramento to gain perspective of the business climate in California. Then
the students visit Silicon Valley to look at specific examples of innovation management. The
goal in visiting companies is to gain insights on how they manage the innovation/creative
process (hiring, training, organization, processes, systems, etc.). In addition to Absolute EMS,
the students visit Google, Dell and other tech companies.
