DONGGUAN, CHINA ― September 2022 ― Sasinno USA is pleased to announce that it received 2022 Mexico Technology Awards in the categories of Soldering Equipment – Selective for the Unit i1 and Conveyors for its 500x1500mm LED board PCB handling loader/unloader. The awards were announced during a ceremony that took place Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022 during SMTA Guadalajara in Mexico.



 

The Unit-i1 is Sasinno’s latest generation compact inline selective soldering machine. In less than 55” length, it combines a drop jet fluxer nozzle, bottom IR preheating, selective solder pot and AOI function. The result is a full function station for fluxing-preheating-soldering-inspection.



 

Unit-i1 can be used as standalone or as a module with the highest flexibility. For volume production, customers can put unlimited boards one after another. For the production of different boards, customers can separate each machine as every machine can work individually.

The LED Board Unloaded with Trolley collects LED boards using the attached roller conveyor. Boards are then pushed into the trolley. The system allows buffering of LED boards in FIFO, LIFO and Pass-through mode. It uses belt segments to hold the PCB over its complete length. When adding or extracting a PCB to/from the buffer a drive mechanism engages with the belt segment to smoothly transfer the PCB in or out.
